Our services in detail

If you have specific ideas about how you want the items photographing, then tell us. The more detail you can supply about your requirements, the easier it will be for us to give you exactly what you want.

You should:

• Write out a full brief of your project.
• To help us to get it right first time, particularly for the more complex shots you should also send us a sketch of your desired layout area and shape, and the ideal angle that you would like the products to be viewed from.
• If you have a particular idea of a photographic style or composition you want, or have seen a shot somewhere you like, include some sort of reference to it. A sketch or a tear sheet from a magazine, or reference to a web page, for example.
• Pack the products carefully and deliver them to us. Make sure the items are clean and undamaged, including the outer packaging if that is to be shown in the shot.

If any additional assembly of items is required this will incur an extra charge of £20 per hour.

We will:

• Send you e-mail images to ensure you are happy with the composition. Small changes can be made at this stage. (see faqs for further details)
• Re-pack your products in the original packaging and post them back to you by Royal mail standard parcels, along with the CD or DVD of images. We will charge standard Royal mail parcel delivery rates +10% for postage.
  Royal Mail special delivery, or Parcelforce delivery can be arranged if requested, charged at cost +10%, or you can arrange for collection of the products yourselves if you wish.
• Accept no responsibility for damage to goods in transit - the responsibility for the goods remains with the carrier service. We recommend that you fully insure the goods for all risks.

What is included in the price:

• Basic photographic background
• Proof photographs e-mailed to you as low-resolution jpegs for your approval, if required
• High-resolution digital images. Standard file size up to 18Mb - see Image Resolution and File Format page for further details.
• Photoshop cut - out layer can be supplied if required.
• Final delivery of TIFF format images on CD ROM or DVD.

We aim to achieve a 5-day turn around time from approval of jpeg previews to finished photography. We will complete the work sooner than this if we can.

All Images will be supplied as 'Tiff' format RGB files as standard.
(Jpeg and Photoshop formats can be supplied on request)
No sharpening will be applied to the images unless specifically requested

Further image manipulation can be undertaken in Photoshop for an additional fee - just call us, we'll be happy to discuss your ideas.
